The Skellig Islands are bare granite buttresses that rise out of the Atlantic Ocean some 2 hours sailing from Kerry on the west coast of Ireland. These islands are home to colonies of Grey Seals. These are delightful and inquisitive creatures that often playfully interact with divers as they explore the deep ravines that characterise the sea bed around these rugged crags.
